Thunderbolt has soft, dense, superfine, and a bright fleece, a compact boxy square frame, and overall handsome appearance. His lineage is a combination of our Multichampion Herdsire, Alpaca Palaces Houdini and Accoyo America Alpenglow AC020. We know through conversations with Lynn Eden that Alpenglow's Dam, Accoyo America Alpenrose, is a consistent producer of elite alpacas for Little Creek Farm. This combination offers Hemingway, Bueno, North Star, Nautilus and Vengador in his background, how could you go wrong? Thunderbolt has proven himself in the showring with many accolades and top awards from AOA Certified Judges. Many people ask our opinion of how to pick a the right herdsire for their females. We don't have a crystal ball and realize there is always an element of chance, however, the first thing that we recommend is noting what the female needs for improvement. A good fleece is a good fleece no matter the color. In all cases, we know that the Houdini line adds general overall health and wellness to his cria. His cria are almost always up running around and nursing within 20 minutes of birth, no matter what their birth weight.
